NEIGHBORHOOD

Greenpoint

Greenpoint is Brooklyn’s northernmost neighborhood and is known for showcasing incredible views of the East River and the Manhattan Skyline while retaining a charming small-town quality. Previously home to a predominantly Polish immigrant community, today the neighborhood has become one of the city’s most vibrant cultural enclaves.

Parker House sits a few blocks from the dozens of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops along the main pedestrian strips of Manhattan Avenue and Franklin Street. Local dining favorites include Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop, Glasserie, and Oxomoco.

Additional neighborhood highlights include McCarren Park, McGolrick Park, and Transmitter Park. Nearby public transportation options include the NYC Ferry and the G subway line.
